The yarn ~ hand processed natural charcoal corriedale wool from raw fleece.

The wool was carded to include turquoise angelina and small bits of other handspun
and novelty knitting yarns ~ and that was plied with green poly sewing thread.

Scarf was knit in a 4x4 checkerboard pattern.

Eco Fragment 1

I completed this first eco dyed fragment yesterday. The print itself is eucalyptus leaves on silk crepe de chine, backed with eco dyed old linen. It's been hand stitched with metallic sewing thread and edged with tiny French knots of rayon sewing thread.

Finished size 8.5 x 9.5 inches. Suitable for framing or just holding in your hands and adoring.
